Imagine you can't find your iPhone. You even tried to call the number with your spouse's phone, but to no avail. And to make matters worse, your iPhone's battery is dead. According to Fox News, a recent update to the Find My app will find the device even if it's turned off or the battery is dead.
Find your missing iPhone even if the battery is drained
This will work with all iPhone 11, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 models running iOS 15. To get started, make sure all three features of Find My app are enabled. Tap Find My iPhone at the top of the screen and you should see three different functions, each with a toggle switch.

Find My iPhone should be enabled by default. When enabled, you can locate, lock, or erase your iPhone and its supported accessories. The device cannot be erased and reactivated without using your password.
The Find My Network feature lets you locate your iPhone even when it's offline, in power reserve mode, or when the phone is turned off. If your iPhone isn't connected to a cellular or Wi-Fi network and is offline, Find My Network will still locate your device if it's compatible with the Find My app and is offline. it runs on iOS 15. Such a device can be located using the Find My app up to 24 hours after the phone has been turned off.
If your phone's battery life reaches a critical level, its location is automatically sent to Apple. This feature is called Send Last Location, and like Find My iPhone and Find My Network, make sure it's turned on.
