Unsolicited phone calls can become a daily annoyance and even a source of stress for many people these days. Fortunately, Apple has a feature in iOS 13 that can automatically block unknown calls on your phone, which should help reduce the number of spam calls you receive.
How to Let iOS Handle Phone Spam
Whether it's a salesperson, an error, or spam trying to get you to call back a premium rate number, all it takes is a few clicks to avoid all that inconvenience with iOS 13. Unknown callers will then bite the dust.
When "Silent Calls from Strangers" is enabled, people who call you who are not in your contact list will receive it directly to voicemail and your phone will not ring. If it's a bit drastic, this solution offers real peace of mind. And generally, important calls leave a message, and therefore a chance to call them back.
What about spam messages?
If you encounter spam by SMS, just go to the conversation in iMessage then click on the avatar > info > contact card. There you can "block this caller". Easy and it works since iOS 11. Here is another tip that fills our Easy iPhone section!
