Downloading a photo stored on Google Drive via the computer is child's play, just open the photo, then click on the download icon located at the top right. How to upload a photo stored on Google Drive with an iPhone
1. Open the Google Drive app,
2. Tap on the photo of your choice to open it,
3. Press the 3 small dots at the top right,
4. Select the Send a copy option,
5. A window opens with different sharing options. By scrolling down the screen, you can tap on Save image,
6. Find the downloaded photo in your Photos gallery.
To know: if you want to download .pdf or .txt files for example, you will not have a save option like for photos but you can copy the document or share it with your contacts via other applications ( messages, email, WhatsApp, Messenger, etc.).

How to Upload Multiple Photos Simultaneously to Google Drive
On iPhone, it is not possible to download several photos at the same time, you will have to repeat the operation explained above for each photo you want to download. If you select several photos, Google Drive only offers you the following options: add to favourites, make them available offline, move the photos to another folder or delete them.
However, if you have a large number of photos to download, it is best to connect to your Google Drive account on your computer via a web browser. Indeed, it is possible via desktop to select a large number of photos, to right click, then to click on Download. Your photos will then be downloaded in a .zip folder. All you have to do is right-click on this .zip folder and select Extract all… to recover all of your photos.
