First, go to the App Store and check for app updates. Next, open the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android smartphone, then tap the Profile icon in the lower right corner.

Here, tap on the Hamburger Menu icon which is located at the top right corner.

In the window that opens, choose the “Settings” option.

On the Settings page, swipe down from the top of the screen. Keep swiping down until you get to the end of the screen. You will see a line of emojis to guide you up the screen. You will see confetti once you reach the end of the emoji.

You are now in the hidden app icon screen. Here are all the options available for the Instagram app icon.

Select the app icon you want to switch to. You can choose the classic Polaroid camera, the original Instagram logo, or one of the other custom icons.

The icon will be changed, and you will see a pop-up message confirming the change. Press the "OK" button to dismiss this pop-up window.

Now when you return to your iPhone or Android home screen, you will see the updated app icon.

You can go back and change the app icon at any time as long as the feature is still available in the Instagram app.
