Customize your application icons
Although present on iPhones since last year, the native Shortcuts application is currently enjoying great success. The cause ? Since the release of iOS 14 and the new features offered, users are using it to revamp their applications. Here are the step-by-step steps to customize your icons:
After completing these steps, your custom icon will appear on your home page.
Internet users have shared their creations with the hashtag #ios14homescreen which has been on fire on social networks in recent days. A few examples here:

These customizations often take a lot of time, which is why there are apps that offer a catalog of custom icons directly. This is the case, for example, with Launch Center Pro, which allows you to create icons in a very short time: you can customize the color, shape, contours, etc.
Note, however, that this extensive customization was not thought out by Apple and some disadvantages ensue:
Customize your widgets
The great novelty of iOS 14 are the widgets. If Apple does not allow you to customize their appearance, there are however applications to do so.
Widgetsmith, the popular application of the moment
The application offers you a list of widgets: clock, date, personal widget (photo, quote, etc.), calendar, reminders, weather, phase of the moon and tide, physical activity. Among this list, you can modify the entire appearance of your widget: style, font, text and background color… Enough to allow pretty creations.
The application is available for free on the App Store.
Color Widgets, the practical widget
Color Widgets brings together the most useful information in a single widget: time, current date and battery percentage. All in a modern and refined design that we can customize as we see fit.

Original wallpapers
Never know which photo to put as your wallpaper? Note that Apple offers "dynamic" and "live" wallpapers that allow you to insert mini-videos. It is also possible to create dynamic wallpapers from your own videos thanks to IntoLive. The application allows you to transform your videos into “Live Photo”. Then just go to your settings > Wallpaper > Choose a new wallpaper > Live Photo. All you have to do is get started in customizing your iPhone!
