New scandal?

When you buy a computer for more than €1,500, you only want one thing: to have quality and that it lasts over time. If Macs are renowned for their reliability, they are not immune to problems during use! For the past few months, more and more owners of MacBook M1s have been on the forums to complain about seeing the screen of their precious...crack. Many do not understand what is happening since they claim to be very careful with their MacBook and that it has never experienced a fall. The crack would come at a key moment in use: when opening or closing the MacBook, the screen would be visibly too fragile during this action.

Posts on the forums and on Reddit are all about the new MacBook M1s and unsurprisingly users share very similar experiences:

As you can see, the messages have a lot of similarities: a closing, an opening and the screen is cracked. Changing the angle of the screen during use is also subject to this anomaly! What is most regrettable is this feeling of rejection on the part of Apple technical support, customers who experience this incident on their MacBook M1 does not seem to be taken seriously by Apple. To the point where they are accused of being negligent with their MacBook...Apple has not yet commented on the MacBook M1 screens which break easily with some customers. The case is just beginning to be publicized, the more it will be, the more likely it is that the Cupertino company will react quickly, especially since this kind of controversy stains a product as high-end as the MacBook M1!
