After evaluating the iPhone 13 Pro for more than a week, I decided to choose reliability and certainty rather than lack of reliability and misery.But that does not mean that the iPhone is perfect.It's just that the defects of the iPhone are less problematic than the many problems I have with the Google Pixel 6 Pro.
So let's discuss it briefly.And I mean, briefly.I don't have so many problems.
The fonts are not consistent.It is not necessarily Apple's fault, but the system's police options (notably Text Size and Bold Text) are not used in a coherent manner by applications, in particular the third -party applications I use, whichcreates a situation in which some fonts are far too large and others far too small.Google applications, which I use a lot, are the worst offenders.In Google Maps, for example, the fonts displayed on the map are enormous, but when you select a location, the shadow of details (or whatever its name) includes tiny fonts, much smaller than those I haveConfigured at the system level.This problem makes Gmail unusable for me, because all the fonts are also small, and I therefore decided to use Apple Mail instead.Idiot.

Notifications are broken.It's easy to say that Android and iOS manage notifications differently, and even those that are not familiar with the two systems would probably believe me if I said that you can adapt to one or the other system quite easily.What is good, since it is true.But what I don't really see is that iOS notifications are literally broken.I regularly get my iPhone to get my iPhone and see a notification on the lock screen-the weather telling me that it could rain in the next 60 minutes, perhaps, an electronic message or a comment on the mediasocial - for an event that occurred several hours ago, even yesterday, and which I have already taken care of.It has happened so many times in so many applications that I can only conclude that this is a problem at the system scale.And I don't understand why it exists, since it is clearly defective.(Not having used a full -time iPhone for years, I don't know when it could start, sorry).

The notch is a vestigial wallpaper thief.It always makes me laugh when the owners of iPhone claim that they "no longer see the notch", because it is a delirium and it misses the essentials.Even the notch of the iPhone 13, slightly smaller, flies an enormous amount of space on the screen, which is particularly problematic for games, video applications or any other experience in full screen.And this transforms the 6.1 inch screen of the iPhone 13 Pro, already on the verge of too small, in something that is probably 5.8 to 6 inches at best when I watch a video on the elliptical velo tothe gym, a moment when each percentage of thumbs really count.A really full screen iPhone will not have a notch and reduced or non -existent edges, and it is difficult not to be delighted with this day.Who is not today.
The sides are hurtful.After having used more comfortable and curved sides for years for its iPhones (versions 6 to 11), Apple returned to the hard and loss side that it had launched for the first time with the iPhone 4.I understand a little, because this look is emblematic.But it is enough to hold an iPhone 13 in his hands to understand the problem: these edges are literally painful to hold, in particular the lower edge, which in my case rests on my little finger now painful when he is normally held.To fight this problem, I fiddle with the iPhone a lot and try to adopt another way to hold it.Yes, you guessed it.I don't mind, as Steve Jobs said in 2010.Unfortunately, the Apple leather case that I use does not solve the problem, but it is possible that a case with more padding makes it.

When you compare these problems to those I encountered on the Pixel 6 Pro - a fingerprint reader on slow and unreliable screen, an unnecessarily curved screen with adaptive light problems, its size and size,and its "fast" load too slow - you can see the differences.The problems of the iPhone are mainly detail problems, the kind of thing you only mention because the bases are so solid.But the problems of pixel are mostly endemic, or at least unlikely to be corrected by software updates.
In the future, I will approach the Apple ecosystem in the broad sense.And I will also review the iPhone 13 Pro, of course.
