That's why rumors about the iPhone 13 have widely referred to the return of a touch ID fingerprint sensor this year. According to him, the entire iPhone 13 range should again bet on face ID.

Two avenues for the future

Gurman says Apple is working on several solutions for future iPhone. For its top models, the company would consider hiding the sensors needed for facial recognition under the screen, much like Samsung did with the Selfie camera of its Galaxy Z fold 3. The most affordable iPhone, on the other hand, may well be entitled to a fingerprint sensor under the screen, although Apple would also consider offering them face ID, but with a notch.

In short: there is little chance of a fingerprint sensor coming out under the screen on iPhone, let alone seeing touch ID and face ID coexist in one and the same device. On the iPhone 13, we will have to settle for face ID. Nevertheless, the notch will finally be reduced this year, according to insistent rumours. Answer next month!

   Raz the front bowl id with the mask even with the applewatch this is so slow that it is faster to type the code. Only quick solution remove any code to turn on his iPhone. Bravo Apple and his security has two bullets. I won't buy the iPhone 13 since the same worries

   La vrai perte avec faceid c’est pour payer en caisse : là où il me suffisait d’amener le téléphone avec le doigt sur touchid, je dois (même sans masque) avec le 12 :– l’amener sur le lecteur – faire un double-clic difficile en le tenant à deux mains – le ramener sur le lecteur ==> Résultat depuis que j’ai faceid je ne paye plus avec le téléphone car c’est 3 fois plus facile avec la carte bleue elle-même.
