Moreover, if you do not want to use a keyboard shortcut, you will have to type “Screenshot” in the search bar at the top right of the screen. The bar below then appears. By clicking on the corresponding option, you will trigger the option and you will notably see an action bar appear. In order, from left to right, the icons allow a capture of the entire screen, of a window or of a menu or of a particular area.
The following two icons are used to record a video of your desktop (in its entirety or a specific part only).
The Options menu allows you to customize certain actions such as where the capture will be saved or to start a countdown.
This method is slower than keyboard shortcuts, but easier to understand for some people.
