Also available in white, our test model is black.This is a medium -sized plastic frame (41 x 57 x 6 cm) with a black frame and a matching canvas that takes up the slightly fine fabric coating of certain speakers.Above, there is a pattern that symbolizes the sound wave.This panel can be replaced and Ikea will quickly offer a collection of interchangeable facade models for all tastes.

But the drawing has the merit of being quite neutral and of being able to blend everywhere, whether it is placed vertically or horizontally.Small black rubber legs are provided to allow it to rest on a support without rubbing.Just fix them on the back on one of the slices as needed.

Note that a light is visible on the side, under the table.It indicates the current state of the speaker (green or red, depending on whether it is connected and functional or not)).

The whole appears quite fine and without the presence of a very long white thread of 3.5 m power supply (too bad it is not black!), We could summarize it to a nice frame to fix on the wall inThe pure tradition of Ikea products.But on the back, hides the secret.

If the table part is quite fine, at the back, we find the overweight due to the speaker, with the more mechanical and technological part hidden under the black plastic formwork.

Sound turns out to be pretty good and balanced, as we often get used to Sonos.Although hidden behind the frame of the frame, it is efficient and does not require having to push the volume to be heard.The music or the audio of the film (if you added it to your TV) is spreading on both sides of the frame, even if, positioned vertically, it has often had the impression that it pushed moreon the left side that to the right.Horizontally, the sensation was more balanced.

Qualitatively, symfonisk tends to make the bass heard a little more than usual with Sonos speakers.By his side, we have Sonos One, a Play: 5 or even a Sonos Beam to accompany him.The enclosure is of good quality, but offers a slightly less detailed and precise sound than its acolytes.

We made it run in AirPlay 2 (see below) associated with a homepod whose sound was more powerful and enveloping.The boarding board is nonetheless very pleasant as an extra audio device in a small room, a room where the setting plays its double decorative and musical role wonderfully.

If you already have other Sonos speakers, you can operate everything in multiroom.On the other hand, the stereo installation only works with another Symfonisk executive.This will nevertheless make it possible to broadcast the same music between two pieces.

The speaker does not benefit from any IP classification and it is therefore better not to install it in a damp place like a bathroom.
