As Downdetector collects and confirms by thousands of users on social networks, the Google app has been crashing for a few hours, more precisely from 8 am Spanish time (early morning in Latin America).
A large part of user complaints indicate that the Google app does not allow registrations, and in some cases it reaches to completely disable searches. Currently, Google keeps crashing as an error that causes unexpected closes in the app.
Down Detector has recorded thousands of incidents in the Google app
The message displayed by the Google app reads "Google continues to fail", while offering three options to the user: information about the application, close the application and send feedback.
If we want to solve this incident, among these three options we must select application information. There, we will click on the three points located at the top right. In the options menu that will open, you will need to select uninstall update.
In case this solution does not work for you, from Google's own Twitter account recommends to completely restart the mobile, holding down the power button for 30 seconds.
What is the Google app error?
As reported in Android Authority, this error is most likely related to the latest update released by Google, specifically those numbered 12.23.16.23.arm64 and 12.22.8.23. Also, users who installed the beta version of the Google app experienced this error, in their case it was with version 12.24.7.29.arm64.
It is highly likely that Google's latest update is causing issues with the operating system of different Android phones. For this reason, the recommendation is to restart the mobile as well as erase data and uninstall Google app updates.
