While the generalization of the Sanitary Pass to new places should be applicable from the beginning of August, many French people have to show the document and its famous QR Code. Here's how to download and view it on your smartphone.

Whether you are vaccinated or not, whether you have passed a PCR or antigen test in order to go to a place requiring a health pass, you will have to show this famous sesame. Verifiers are usually equipped with a smartphone to scan the QR code that accompanies the document. If you haven't printed it, it's often easier to download it to your mobile phone. There are two methods, the first consisting of adding it to the TousAntiCovid application (on iOS and Android), the second simply inviting you to download the file in pdf format and show the QR Code displayed there.

But be careful, the procedures differ depending on whether you are vaccinated (double dose) or whether you have the results of a PCR or antigen test. In any case, don't forget your identity card or passport either, these documents are normally checked at the same time as the Sanitary Pass.

If you are vaccinated

If you are completely vaccinated (the administration of a first dose is not enough), the download procedure is simple.

If you are one of those fully vaccinated since the end of June, the document provided by the authorities includes a flash code which can be automatically recognized by the TousAntiCovid application, with the button located at the top right of the iOS version and on the central virtual button (Scan a QR code) in the Android version. It will then be automatically recognized and added to the notebook in the Sanitary Pass section. This is also used for trips abroad and within the EU.

If you were vaccinated before the end of June, your documents may require a small update via the social security site Ameli.fr (available HERE), using your usual identifiers (security number...). Note that it is also possible to undertake the process via your France Connect account (already used for a number of public services, such as those of Taxes or La Poste).

Once connected, you will be able to download the certification document in pdf format, consisting of four pages, presenting information on your identity and proof of your vaccination in the form of a QRcode. In particular, you can store it in your download files, or even take a screenshot of your QR Code. Which you can also scan and add to TousAntiCovid by following the procedure above.

If you have taken a test

In case you are not vaccinated. The Health Pass is valid by justifying a PCR or antigenic test of less than 48 hours, explains the government. To download the proof, a procedure has been put in place and is normally based on sending an SMS.

When you take a test, you can give your mobile phone number. You will then be sent an SMS to your mailbox with a link to a page asking for your date of birth and your number or your email address. You will then receive a code via another SMS for double authentication. Once the code is entered, a new web page allows you to access your results.

A first link invites you to download the supporting document in pdf format, the QR Code is included. You can then integrate it into the files downloaded from your mobile phone or take a screenshot of the QR Code. If you scroll down the same web page, another link allows you to directly integrate the QR Code into the TousAntiCovid application book (provided you have downloaded and activated the application beforehand.
