Starting with the display, OnePlus has confirmed that its new device features an LTPO Fluid AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of up to at 120 hertz, with second-generation LTPO calibration, which should result in greater power efficiency.
LTPO displays, what are they and what advantages do they have over conventional OLED displays
Its technical sheet is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, combined with LPDDR5 RAM technology and UFS 3.1 storage.
All of this will be backed by a 5,000 mAh capacity battery, which is a significant increase from the 4,500 mAh of the previous OnePlus 9. In addition, charging speed has been increased thanks to the using OPPO's SuperVOOC technology, which supports up to 80W wired power and up to 50W wireless.
OnePlus also revealed several details of the device's multimedia section, highlighting the inclusion of a second-generation Hasselblad camera system consisting of three 48-, 50-, and 8-megapixel sensors, which we assume , are wide-angle, ultra-wide-angle and telephoto respectively.
We are therefore talking about a camera system that, on paper, would not reach the level included in models such as the Pixel 6 Pro or the future Galaxy S22 Ultra on a technical level, since it lacks a optical periscope-type telephoto sensor capable of extending the focal length beyond three times. The front camera of the OnePlus 10 Pro will have a resolution of 32 megapixels.
To all this we must add OxygenOS 12, the new version of the brand's operating system, based on Android 12 and with ColorOS 12 code as its base.
OnePlus encourages us to stay tuned for more information on the OnePlus 10 Pro until it officially hits the Chinese market on January 11. Its launch in the rest of the regions is planned for later.
