The current entry-level Samsung Galaxy A12 smartphone was made official in early February alongside the Galaxy A02s and are offered at particularly affordable prices. This would also be the case for the Galaxy A13 5G, the official announcement of which should not be long in coming. Indeed, an extremely well-informed prognosticator has published almost all of the technical data sheet for the future entry-level smartphone from the South Korean giant in addition to the publication on the Internet of public results of performance measurements under Geekbench. It will be the cheapest 5G mobile phone from Samsung.

Technically, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G will be equipped with a 5G-compatible Mediatek Dimensity 700 chip that is also found on other entry-level smartphones from Samsung with the Galaxy A22 5G, but also from competitors such as the realme 8 5G, Poco M3 Pro, Xiaomi Redmi note 10 5G, TCL 20 R 5G or the Vivo Y52 5G and Vivo Y72 5G, for example.
The Galaxy A13 5G is said to come with a 6.48-inch LCD display and have a 5,000 mAh capacity battery with 25-watt charging. It would benefit from a main 50 megapixel photo sensor accompanied by another 5 megapixel sensor for wide-angle shots and a last 2 megapixel lens would be there to optimize portraits thanks to its calculation capabilities of depth of field. Several variants would be announced with 4, 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of internal storage space.

The smartphone would have a fingerprint reader that would be installed on the standby button which costs much less than installing it under the screen, especially for an entry-level model. This location is not so inconvenient and some users prefer it to a dorsal position or under the screen. The characteristics of the front photo sensor are not yet known, but the current Galaxy A12 does with an 8 megapixel which could also be the case of its successor in order to keep the price as affordable as possible. It remains to know the price or prices, depending on the configuration chosen. Currently, the Galaxy A12 is offered at 189 € on the manufacturer's site. Its replacement should be available at less than €200 to be competitive against the competition.
