Discover, in images, all the technologies that Cyril Guiraud, CoOFrom Theta and Technology Expert, spotted these last day of CES Las Vegas and its assessment of the show on the last day.

We are at the end of the third day of CES Las Vegas.What are the technologies that have marked you today?

The technologies that were presented to us by Bosch, a company that is not necessarily imagined on avant-garde technology.And however, they have a very large research and development service.Today, we have focused on biometric recognition systems and in particular fingerprint recognition solutions.To do this, simply pass your hand in a contactless scanner.Previously, we used to wait a few seconds for the scan to come true.But there everything happens quickly.It’s quite impressive.

Everyone knows or has heard of Beacon Bluetooth, small devices that allow navigation inside a site.We are recognized thanks to a Beacon that we carry on ourselves and receptors or transmitters positioned all over the rooms.Bosch’s technology is based on something that we didn't necessarily expect indoors, namely atmospheric pressure.From the moment you install a small sensor on yourself and move, it will change the pressure.We can imagine several uses in tourism today, for example during museum visits.You can know if there are people in such a room, throw special entertainment.One can also imagine all the indoor guidance principles or even the protection of its employees.

Another stand also drew your attention with technology around the metarers.

Yes, the metarers is a bit of fashion.The only interesting business that we saw or at least that I found interesting, it was caliheus.They looked into the fact of marketing something in the metarers which then becomes a commercial vector.We put our virtual reality headset, we have our avatar and we will visit shops in which we can buy things.These can be classic things or things related to specific events.There, we witnessed a presentation of a concert in the metarers.The concert then becomes a pretext for purchase.

Have you been able to experience an American show on the Samsung stand?

Yes, the Samsung stand has indeed showed us an American show.I think this is the biggest representation we saw on the living room, with very advanced equipment and new generation screens.We were able to discover new screen forms that we will no longer position in Landcape mode, but in portrait mode with a curved screen and an inclined seat.I tried it and it provides a fairly impressive visual quality.For a workstation, it can be interesting.We have also seen how Samsung plans to enter more and more deeply in everything that will be basic supplies of vehicle equipment with augmented reality systems directly sent to the dashboard of cars.Even if it's impressive, it is a little less than Sony's technology that has the car in addition to the system.

Quel est votre coup de cœur de cette 3^e journée ?

My favorite is for the UV-C Labs company which presented us a surface cleaning system by UV.The device is much smaller than anything we knew so far and sticks behind your smartphone.An application works with this system and allows you to clean an entire surface by being assisted by a mobile application which will verify that you have passed over the entire surface.There are two modes, one of fifteen seconds for quick cleaning and a mode of around thirty seconds when you want, for example, cleaning an airplane seat.

We will finish this recap with a lighter note.You were able to discover, without testing, a rather WTF technology?

Yes, it is better to keep children away from television, indeed.It is an automated male male masturbation system.It's pretty funny to see this kind of technology at CES.Another brand, satisfied, was also present for female pleasure.It’s not shocking, but it’s quite surprising to say that these is that too.

If we had to do the general conclusion of the show, what are the products, the technologies, the general atmosphere that has marked you, the strengths that you have to remember?

What marks at first glance is the absence of major companies. Microsoft, LG, were not present, all these highly technological companies that have something to say and which very often speak to CES. Likewise for the automotive part. Mercedes was not there physically, even if they managed to make the show still making a presentation of a distance. A lot of things happened on the net. The advantage is that it has given more space to the smallest companies. The CES explained to us that a few days after the cancellation announcements of these larger companies, around fifty additional registrations by smaller companies had been received. So, the misfortune of some makes others happy. It was very pleasant for us visitors to be able to chat by really taking our time with all these companies. Besides, everyone dedicated us time and has answered our questions each time. People were much more relaxed despite the covid. We had great demos. There too, this was not necessarily the case with other editions or it is more of slaughter.
