Samsung has presented some nice foldable screens concepts at CES 2022

Samsung presented its first foldable screen prototype in 2011. While its first commercial foldable phone was launched until 8 years later, this initial prototype was sufficient for people to start dreaming of the foldable phone era.Inte that it is there, two formal factors dominate the market: a valve design, like the Galaxy Z Flip3, and a book design, of style Z Fold3. But if there was more? Samsung APresented some new foldable prototypes to these 2022 in the form of its Flex S and Flex G panels - and they seem really nice.

The "S" and the "G" in the names already give an index on the functioning of these displays. The flex S (via Sammobile) is a three -fold product that you can fold and unfold in the shape of "S", youTo transform a device the size of a smartphone in what is essentially a tablet. The Flex G, on the other hand, is a little more compact - it is also foldable in three, but it folds inward in shapeof "G" instead of outwards, offering you both sustainability and portability. The one or the other works both for compact devices and the size of a tablet, andThey both look clever.

TCL has also presented a certain number of interesting foldable concepts a few years ago, as well as many OEMs since. Samsung is however at the cutting edge of technology with regard to foldable phones and also provides folding screens to othersmanufacturers. It is therefore good to see the company leaving the beaten track with regard to new form factors. We do not know when a "multi-plain" offer from Samsung will arrive on the market, or even at all-butOther OEMs also constantly offer new foldable factors, so if you can't wait for the Samsung version, you will probably see crazy things early anyway.
